Sponsored by Taiwan’s National Development Fund and several internationally renowned enterprises (including TSMC), School of Political Science and Economics (SPE) at National Taiwan University aims to develop first-tier research of international political economy. The school takes an interdisciplinary approach, and incorporates faculty members from the fields of finance, political science, and economics. Two master programs, MA in Finance and MA in Political Economy, will start to enroll students in fall 2025. Programs in SPE are all-English programs.
The school invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in finance at all levels. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of political economy, economics, and finance will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate strong ability in research and teaching, and they should obtain their Ph.D. degrees before July, 2025.
All interviews will be conducted virtually. Applications must arrive by Dec 15, 2024 to ensure full consideration. Positions are open until filled.
